This park is West of the Cottonwood Height Recreation Center. Approach between Butler Middle School and the Center. Management of this park is shared with Salt Lake County and the Jordan School District. View Detailed Map.

Amenities
There is a pavilion (with electricity) for 100 people with 2 large charcoal grills, restrooms, water spout, 3 tennis courts, volleyball courts, horseshoe pit, and a childrens play area. The playing fields are used primarily for league play.

Rates and Equipment
Pavilion Rate: $50.00

Equipment for volleyball and horseshoes are available with a $50.00 deposit per set which will be returned in exchange for equipment return. Tennis courts can be reserved with a pavilion reservation for $1.00 per court hour.

The Richard L. Guthrie Skate Park is located at 2415 East Begal Blvd or just southwest of the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center.

Fall, Winter, and Spring 2012 Skate Park Hours

Mon-Fri: 3:30-9pm
Sat/Sun: 7am-9pm

Elementary Age Children Only

Fri: 1:30-3:30pm

BMX-type Bikes Only

Sat/Sun: 7am-11am

*The skate park may be closed outside these scheduled hours due to bad weather, vandalism or if excessive litter is found in the park. Please call the office at 801.943.3190 x.0 to verify hours before arrival if inclement weather.

Skateboard or BMX Lessons
Skateboard and BMX lessons are available during summer months for children in 1st-6th grade.
