An Olympic Year
This next year is going to be BIG--- enjoy the exciting sport of figure skating in an Olympic year. Our ice arena was the official practice site for Olympic gold medalist Kristyi Yamaguchi during the SLC 2002 Winter Olympics. More recently, our rink has been transformed into an Olympic-sized ice arena, has
received a new mechanical freezing system, and includes a new room for party and practice use, among other changes. (Ice arena Party room rentals are $30 per session: call
801.943.3190 x. 0 for more info. but must come in to the Rec Center to make a reservation.)
Public Skating Hours
Fri./Sat./Sun.: 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Tues./Wed./Fri.: 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Sat.: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Ice Party Room
*Have the Coolest Party Around in the Ice Party Room year-round (available during public skating hours) - $30.00 per two hour session
Ice Skating Rates
Basic Member-No charge for skating (skate rental $1.50)
Premium Member-No charge for skating, includes skates
Non-member Youth-$4.50 for skating, includes skates
Non-member Adult-$5.00 for skating, includes skates
Non-member Senior-$4.50 for skating, includes skates
Group Skating - Per Person (8 or more, must come in together) $4.00, includes skates
Hockey $5.00 for players per session (up to 30 players), goalies free (4 per session only)
Freestyle Session - $5.00
Skate Rental - $1.50
