Private Skate Lessons
Skaters of all ages and abilities can begin private lessons at any time. Private lessons are generally for those interested in becomming competitive figure skaters or those who want to improve skills of work on specific elements. Lesson must be set up directly with the coach and paid for at the main office.

Some of the benefits of private lessons include:

• Individualized instruction is tailored to your skater's personalty and learning needs
• One-on-one instruction allows for more rapid progression of skills
• Great supplement to group lessons to allow a skater to focus on the skills that need help

Choosing a Coach: Here are suggested guidelines for selecting a coach. If you have any additional questions, please contact our office.
1. Review our Skate Pro Biography Page for background information on each of our coaches.

2. Observe the coaches at work. Take note of teaching styles that will work best with you or your child.

3. Speak directly with the coaches regarding their views on teaching, training and competing.

4. Fill out a private lesson request form at the front office. This form will be given to the coach. The coach will then contact you directly.



Things to Remember:
- Private lessons are open to skaters of all ages and abilities.

- Lesson must be set up with the coach and not through the main office.

- Lessons are paid for at the office. You will receive a ticket which must be given to the coach at the start of your lesson.

- Ice time is a separate fee and can be paid for on a monthly basis.

- Private skate and ice time require prior notice of cancellation or you will be charged for the session.

- Students of staff Pros will be given first priority for ice time.

- Skate do not need to complete all classes in the Learn to Skate program to begin private lessons.
