Shannon Clawson (x. 170)
A background in physical therapy sparked Shannon's interest in a fitness and nutrition career. She is cerfified through Madd dogg and Personal training(ITFA), with 2 additional certifications in progress. Shannon has worked in the fitness field for several years and loves working as a fitness trainer and nutrition consultant to her clients. Shannon enjoys participating in bike tours, triathlons, and bike racing. She has experience training athletes and also loves assisting individuals to live healthy lives through proper nutrition and regular exercise.


Jennifer Cottam (x. 181)
Jennifer has been a motivating force in physical fitness for 13 years, participating in gigathlons, relays, marathons, and triathlons across the US and Europe. As an avid competitor and fitness enthusiast, she loves to see others thrive with increased vitality that a fit body can bring. Jennifer specializes in triathlons, weight-loss, personal yoga instruction, and general fitness training, providing knowledge, tools, and quiet motivation required to meet or exceed individual goals. Jennifer has a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and specializes in Nutrition and Food Chemistry. Her current certifications include Personal Training (ITFA expert rating), CPR, and First Aid. Sheila Benson (x. 198)
Sheila specializes in an affordable, efficient 30 minute supervised workout, followed by an instructed unsupervised cardio workout. Sheila trains with an emphasis on posture, body balance, intervals, functional core and enhancing activities clients participate in outside the gym. Working with Sheila provides motivation, improved technical skills, breaking through plateaus and confidence. Sheila has instructed tennis, coached youth soccer, basketball, volleyball, and softball. She enjoys keeping herself and her clients inspired in all aspects of physical fitness. She teaches the importance of healthy nutrition and gives clients the tools to follow through with their goals. Sheila is certified with AFAA, CPR, and First Aid. Michelle Allard (x. 178)
Fitness and health has always been a driving force in Michelle's life. She has skied for many years competitively and enjoys running marathons,biking, hiking, and swimming. Michelle believes that exercise should not only bring RESULTS but should also be FUN. Michelle is passionate about educating her clients in exercise and nutrition and helping them achieve their goals. Her specialties are weight loss management and strength and endurance training for sport. She is NSCA, Advanced First Aid, and CPR certified, is a certified Spinning Instructor, and has completed an intensive 10 month college course in personal training. Currently she is working on a degree in Health Promotion and Nutrition from the U of U. Angie Mehrley (x. 197)
Angie is certified as a personal trainer through ITFA. She is also certified in TRX, Silver Sneakers, MSROM 1 & 2, CPR, and is a group class instructor for Muscle Up, Boot Camp, and TRX classes at Cottonwood Heights. Angie has participated in, and has experience helping individuals prepare for many different types of athletic events including---marathons, half marathons, triathlons, team sports, Tough Mudder, and Spartan races. Angie works with all ages and fitness levels. She specializes in helping each individual create a plan to meet their personal fitness goals. She also provides body fat analysis and nutrition advice to her clients to help them track their fitness progress.


Stefany Adinaro (x. 174)
Stefany is an ACE-certified personal trainer who has spent her entire career wihin the fitness and health fields: as a Physical Education and Health teacher, a graduate instructor for the Special Physical Education dept. of a public university, a professional blogger, and as a national speaker on topics involving exercise and special needs. Alex is a former collegiate athlete (SUU) and has been a personal trainer at other facilities in Salt Lake City. His certifications include NASM, CDSS, CPR, and AED. He also holds a certificate in Vitamins, Minerals, and Nutraceuticals. Experienced in personal training focused on weight loss, endurance, and strength training, he conducts a fitness assessment with each new client. This assessment helps him customize the client's workout program, designed to reach desired fitness goals. He loves to continually change up routines to keep the body performing at optimal levels. Aubri Poulsen is a lifelong resident of Cottonwood Heights. She is also a student at the University of Utah (Go, Utes!), majoring in Fitness Leadership and minoring in Nutrition. She has a passion for fitness and health and it is her goal to help others find that same passion. She is certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Schwinn Certified Indoor Cycling.
