The ice rink is closed at this time and all programs, public sessions, freestyles, and private reservations are cancelled. The rink is estimated to re-open in July 2024. 

Hockey, Figure Skating Private Rentals: $200/hour

(no staff, skate, or equipment rental included)

Private Events/Birthday Party Rentals: $240/hour

(includes staff, skate rental, and skate-aid rental)

Important Information Regarding Reservations for Hockey, Figure Skating, Team Practices, Games, & Scrimmage Rentals

• No equipment provided or staffing required by CHRC.
• Locker rooms are available no sooner than 30 minutes prior to reservation start time. 
• Hockey teams will receive ONE locker rooms, unless there are mixed gender teams, then teams will receive two locker rooms max.
• Nets provided for practices and games, but no pucks or sticks. 
• The Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center DOES NOT accommodate dry-land warmup activities, outside of within that 30 minute window, and must happen in the ice locker room hallway.

Important Information Regarding Reservations for Private Skating Events and Birthday Parties

• Rental fee includes access to the ice arena for your rental atendees. 
• Skate rental, skate-aid, and staffing provided by CHRC and included in rental fee. 
• Two-hour minimum required for groups of 100 skaters or more.
• Requires at least two weeks' notice and are subject to availability and staffing abilities. 
• Food permitted at designated tables at rink-side or lobby area only. 
• Ice Party Room rental is not included and must be reserved separately. 

 AVAILABLE ICE TIMES CAN BE VIEWED HERE. REQUESTS ARE FILLED ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS. One-time use rentals such as birthday parties and private events must be paid in full, at the time the reservation is made.
