PAY RANGE/WORKING CONDITIONS: $13.50-$14.85/hr DOE; Part time, non-seasonal and seasonal positions that have a flexible schedules. FREE Premium Family Memberships, discounts and perks are included for all employees working at the Rec!


1. Current American Red Cross Community CPR and First Aid Certification.

2. Understanding of infant and child development.

3. Knowledge of basic child care and feeding.

4. Must be 18 years of age or older.

5. Good public relations and communication skills.

6. Approved Criminal Background check and fingerprinting must be done and approved by CCL before starting


1. Care for and entertain all children left in the care of the child care.

2. Read, color, and play with children and help them feel safe and happy.

3. Enforce all rules and regulations set up by the Director and the Board of Health.

4. Keep the child care clean, neat, safe and comfortable for all participants.

5. Wash dishes, change diapers, change bed linens, and clean toys. Remove any potentially dangerous objects.

 6. Assist parents in following established security procedures for checking children in and out of the child care and collecting charges due.

7. Maintain a positive rapport with all parents and children.
